City Service Incubator and Research Centre Inaugurated by Mayor Shahadat

CHATTOGRAM, July 5: The City Service Incubator and Research Centre, a joint initiative of Chattogram City Corporation and Premier University, was officially inaugurated at Premier University’s GEC Circle campus on Sunday.

Chattogram City Corporation Mayor Dr Shahadat Hossain formally inaugurated the centre as the chief guest at the ceremony held at 3:30pm.

The event was also attended by Dr Tim Evans, Vice-President of Concordia University, Canada, as the guest of honour.

It may be recalled that in July 2025, Mayor Dr Shahadat Hossain visited Concordia University in Canada, where he held a fruitful meeting with Vice-President Dr Tim Evans to discuss education, research and international collaboration. The discussions paved the way for strengthening academic partnerships and establishing the City Service Incubator and Research Centre.
