1.4 Million Children in Chattogram to Receive Vitamin A Capsules

Chattogram: Under the National Vitamin A Plus Campaign, a target has been set to provide Vitamin A capsules to more than 1.406 million children in Chattogram on June 28. The campaign will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Health Department officials will oversee the program in the district’s upazilas, while the Chattogram City Corporation will manage activities within the city.

Chattogram City Mayor Shahadat Hossain said that the National Vitamin A Plus Campaign plays an important role in preventing nutrition-related blindness among children and strengthening their immune systems. He added that comprehensive preparations have been made to ensure that no child is deprived of this essential service.
