The Chattogram Education Board has postponed the HSC and equivalent ICT examination scheduled for Saturday, July 11, due to adverse weather conditions and ongoing flooding in several districts under the board. A revised exam schedule will be announced later.

The Chattogram Education Board has postponed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent Information and Communication Technology (ICT) examination scheduled for Saturday, July 11, due to adverse weather conditions and the ongoing flood situation in the region.

The decision was confirmed by Chattogram Education Board Chairman Professor Abdullah Al Mamun Chowdhury through a notice published on social media. He said the examination had been suspended in consideration of the severe weather and flooding affecting several districts under the board.

An official notification signed by the board’s Controller of Examinations, Professor Md Parvez Saeed Chowdhury, also announced the postponement.

According to the notice, the ICT examination (Subject Code: 275), which was scheduled to be held on Saturday, will remain suspended at all examination centres in Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Khagrachhari, Rangamati and Bandarban.

The education board said a revised schedule for the postponed examination will be announced later.

Meanwhile, considering possible power outages, all centre secretaries have been instructed to inform students and guardians about the decision as quickly as possible through public announcements and other local communication channels.

The Chattogram Education Board urged candidates and their families to follow official updates regarding the rescheduled examination date.
