A reception was held at Darul Irfan Madrasa on Wednesday (August 12) to honour meritorious students who successfully passed the Dakhil examination.
The programme was presided over by Professor Dr. Md. Enamul Haque, Trustee Secretary of Darul Irfan Madrasa. Professor Dr. Mohammad Hasmat Ali, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC), attended the event as the chief guest.
The opening remarks were delivered by Mohammad Kefayet Ullah, Principal of Darul Irfan Madrasa. Professor Dr. Mawlana Nizamuddin of the Department of Arabic at the University of Chittagong, Professor Engineer Md. Athar Uddin of IIUC, Dr. Waliullah Moin, Faisal Mohammad Yunus, Mawlana Momtazur Rahman, Anwar Hossain, Enamul Haque and Mishkatul Jannat also addressed the programme.
The event was moderated by Mawlana Jasim Uddin and Mawlana Abdullah Al Noman. The programme began with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Ahmad Shukran Saleheen.
In their speeches, the speakers congratulated the students on their success in the Dakhil examination and wished them continued success in their future academic careers. They also urged the students to pursue knowledge while developing strong moral and humanitarian values.
Members of Al-Irfan Shilpi Gosthi performed during the cultural segment, adding vibrancy to the reception.
At the conclusion of the programme, around 60 successful Dakhil examinees were presented with crests in recognition of their achievements. The students were encouraged to maintain their academic excellence and strive for greater success in the future.
The programme concluded with a special dua and munajat for students who had recently lost their lives.
