The Chattogram Development Authority (CDA), Chattogram WASA and Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) have agreed to strengthen coordination in implementing development projects across the city as part of efforts to accelerate Chattogram’s development.

The decision was made at a recent meeting attended by CDA Chairman Engineer Belayet Hossain, Chattogram WASA Managing Director Engineer Selim Mohammad Jane Alam and CCC Mayor Dr Shahadat Hossain.

The meeting focused on improving coordination among the three agencies to ensure smoother implementation of development initiatives and minimise disruption to residents.

Key issues discussed included waterlogging mitigation, safe water supply, road development, coordination of ongoing projects, reducing repeated road excavations and easing public inconvenience.

The officials also agreed to maintain regular coordination in planning and executing future development projects.

According to those present at the meeting, closer collaboration among the three key agencies is expected to accelerate Chattogram’s development and improve the delivery of civic services for city residents.
