Chattogram Medical College Gets New Vice-Principal as Health Ministry Reshuffles Posts

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has appointed Prof Dr Md Anisul Hossain as the new vice-principal of Chattogram Medical College (CMC), replacing Prof Dr Md Abdur Rab.

According to a notification issued by the Health Education and Family Welfare Division of the ministry, Prof Dr Abdur Rab has been reassigned to his substantive post as professor of surgery, while Prof Dr Anisul Hossain, also a professor in the Department of Surgery, has been appointed vice-principal of the college.

The notification, signed by Deputy Secretary Dur-Re-Shahwaz and issued on July 30, confirmed the administrative reshuffle.

It also stated that the transferred officials have been instructed to join their respective posts as directed by the ministry.

The latest move is part of the ministry’s routine administrative changes in public medical colleges aimed at ensuring effective academic and administrative management.
